Mister Muffler has come a long way since 1956 when Mister Claude Despatie turned his Montréal garage into a shop specializing in car repairs and muffler installations.
Following an initial expansion in the 50s and 60s, the company rapidly develops, bearing the Mister Muffler name. The company launches its famous lifetime guarantee on its mufflers in 1964 and its shocks in 1967.
In 1976 the first of several franchises opens in St-Hyacinthe. Now, most of the regions will experience Mister Muffler's name and services. .
Over the years, Mister Muffler continues to expand by offering its customers a complete range of products and services: oil changes, suspensions, brake pads and shoes, air conditioners and batteries.
Mister Muffler is a great Quebec success story. A recent poll showed that the company has a 94% recognition rate and 97% customer satisfaction rate.
